About Harlingen

Characteristic Harlingen is a town full of surprises. The cosy centre offers ample opportunity for shopping, walking along the harbours and there is a great diversity in hotels, bars and good restaurants. Harlingen is the only port town of the province of Friesland and is situated on the Wadden sea, which was named UNESCO World Heritage in 2012.

Parking

There are sufficient paid parking spaces outside our restaurant. Please note: during arrival and departure times of the ferries to Vlieland and Terschelling it is busier than usual.

Catching a breath of fresh air walk

Do you fancy catching a breath of fresh air in Harlingen and enjoying some fish to eat? You can park your car at the Waddenpromenade car park. After parking, walk along the beach (take the stairs up at the Stone Man statue), take the Keermuur (‘retaining wall’) along the Willemskade and enjoy your walk along the Waddenpromenade towards the bus stop. Hoek’s Fish and Food is located directly across from the ferry terminal.
